Human KDM5A qPCR Primer Set – lysine demethylase 5A
Also known as: NEDEHC, RBBP-2, RBBP2, RBP2, JARID1A
About this gene: KDM5A belongs to the Jumonji, AT-rich interactive domain 1 histone demethylase protein family. The KDM5A protein is involved in gene regulation through the histone code by specifically demethylating lysine 4 of histone H3. The KDM5A protein interacts with many other proteins, including retinoblastoma protein, and is implicated in the transcriptional regulation of Hox genes and cytokines.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5927; HGNC ID: HGNC:9886; UniProt: P29375; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001042603.3; Chromosome location: 12p13.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
