SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RAX (retina and anterior neural fold homeobox) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RAX qPCR Primer Set – retina and anterior neural fold homeobox
Also known as: MCOP3, MCOPS16, RAX1, RX
About this gene: RAX encodes a homeobox-containing transcription factor that functions in eye development. The gene is expressed early in the eye primordia, and is required for retinal cell fate determination and also regulates stem cell proliferation. Mutations in RAX have been reported in patients with defects in ocular development, including microphthalmia, anophthalmia, and coloboma.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 30062; HGNC ID: HGNC:18662; UniProt: Q9Y2V3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_013435.3; Chromosome location: 18q21.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
