SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RASSF1 (Ras association domain family member 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RASSF1 qPCR Primer Set – Ras association domain family member 1
Also known as: 123F2, NORE2A, RASSF1A, RDA32, REH3P21
About this gene: RASSF1 encodes a protein similar to the RAS effector proteins. Loss or altered expression of RASSF1 has been linked to the pathogenesis of a variety of cancers, which suggests the tumor suppressor function of RASSF1. The inactivation of RASSF1 was found to be correlated with the hypermethylation of its CpG-island promoter region.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11186; HGNC ID: HGNC:9882; UniProt: Q9NS23; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007182.5; Chromosome location: 3p21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
