SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human BBS1 (Bardet-Biedl syndrome 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human BBS1 qPCR Primer Set – Bardet-Biedl syndrome 1
Also known as: BBS2L2
About this gene: Mutations in BBS1 have been observed in patients with the major form of Bardet-Biedl syndrome. The BBS1 protein may play a role in eye, limb, cardiac and reproductive system development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 582; HGNC ID: HGNC:966; UniProt: Q8NFJ9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024649.5; Chromosome location: 11q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
