SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PLAAT4 (phospholipase A and acyltransferase 4, also called HRSL4) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PLAAT4 qPCR Primer Set – phospholipase A and acyltransferase 4
Also known as: HRASLS4, HRSL4, PLA1/2-3, PLAAT-4, RARRES3, RIG1, TIG3
About this gene: Retinoids exert biologic effects such as potent growth inhibitory and cell differentiation activities and are used in the treatment of hyperproliferative dermatological diseases. These effects are mediated by specific nuclear receptor proteins that are members of the steroid and thyroid hormone receptor superfamily of transcriptional regulators. RARRES1, RARRES2, and RARRES3 are genes whose expression is upregulated by the synthetic retinoid tazarotene.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5920; HGNC ID: HGNC:9869; UniProt: Q9UL19; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004585.5; Chromosome location: 11q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
