Human RANBP2 qPCR Primer Set – RAN binding protein 2
Also known as: ADANE, ANE1, IIAE3, NUP358, TRP1, TRP2
About this gene: RAN is a small GTP-binding protein of the RAS superfamily that is linked to the nuclear membrane and is believed to control a variety of cellular functions through its interactions with other proteins. RANBP2 encodes a very large RAN-binding protein that immunolocalizes to the nuclear pore complex. The protein is a giant scaffold and mosaic cyclophilin-related nucleoporin implicated in the Ran-GTPase cycle.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5903; HGNC ID: HGNC:9848; UniProt: P49792; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006267.5; Chromosome location: 2q13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
