SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RAD23B (RAD23 nucleotide excision repair protein B, also called p58) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RAD23B qPCR Primer Set – RAD23 nucleotide excision repair protein B
Also known as: HHR23B, HR23B, P58
About this gene: The RAD23B protein is one of two human homologs of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rad23, a protein involved in the nucleotide excision repair. The RAD23B protein was found to be a component of the protein complex that specifically complements the NER defect of xeroderma pigmentosum group C cell extracts in vitro. The RAD23B protein was also shown to interact with, and elevate the nucleotide excision activity of 3-methyladenine-DNA glycosylase, which suggested a role in DNA damage recognition in base excision repair.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5887; HGNC ID: HGNC:9813; UniProt: P54727; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002874.5; Chromosome location: 9q31.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
