SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RAD23A (RAD23 nucleotide excision repair protein A, also called HR23A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RAD23A qPCR Primer Set – RAD23 nucleotide excision repair protein A
Also known as: HHR23A, HR23A
About this gene: The RAD23A protein is one of two human homologs of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rad23, a protein involved in nucleotide excision repair. Proteins in this family have a modular domain structure consisting of an ubiquitin-like domain, ubiquitin-associated domain 1, XPC-binding domain and UbA2. The RAD23A protein is important for nucleotide excision repair and also in delivery of polyubiquitinated proteins to the proteasome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5886; HGNC ID: HGNC:9812; UniProt: P54725; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005053.4; Chromosome location: 19p13.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
