SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RABGGTB (Rab geranylgeranyltransferase subunit beta, also called GGTase-II-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RABGGTB qPCR Primer Set – Rab geranylgeranyltransferase subunit beta
Also known as: GGTB
About this gene: RABGGTB encodes a beta-subunit of the enzyme Rab geranylgeranyl-transferase, which belongs to the protein prenyltransferase family. RabGGTase catalyzes the post-translational addition of geranylgeranyl groups to C-terminal cysteine residues of Rab GTPases. Three small nucleolar RNA genes are present in the intronic regions of RABGGTB.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5876; HGNC ID: HGNC:9796; UniProt: P53611; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004582.4; Chromosome location: 1p31.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
