Human PYROXD1 qPCR Primer Set – pyridine nucleotide-disulphide oxidoreductase domain 1
Also known as: MFM8
About this gene: PYROXD1 encodes a nuclear-cytoplasmic pyridine nucleotide-disulphide reductase. PNDRs are flavoproteins that catalyze the pyridine nucleotide-dependent reduction of thiol residues in other proteins. The PYROXD1 protein belongs to the class I pyridine nucleotide-disulphide oxidoreductase family but lacks the C-terminal dimerization domain found in other family members and instead has a C-terminal nitrile reductase domain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79912; HGNC ID: HGNC:26162; UniProt: Q8WU10; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024854.5; Chromosome location: 12p12.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
