Human PYCR1 qPCR Primer Set – pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase 1
Also known as: ARCL2B, ARCL3B, P5C, P5CR, PIG45, PP222, PRO3, PYCR
About this gene: PYCR1 encodes a enzyme that catalyzes the NADH-dependent conversion of pyrroline-5-carboxylate to proline. This enzyme may also play a physiologic role in the generation of NADP in some cell types. The protein forms a homopolymer and localizes to the mitochondrion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5831; HGNC ID: HGNC:9721; UniProt: P32322; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006907.4; Chromosome location: 17q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
