SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NECTIN1 (nectin cell adhesion molecule 1, also called HveC) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NECTIN1 qPCR Primer Set – nectin cell adhesion molecule 1
Also known as: CD111, CLPED1, ED4, HIgR, HV1S, HVEC, OFC7, PRR, PRR1, PVRL1, PVRR, PVRR1
About this gene: NECTIN1 encodes a adhesion protein that is involved in the organization of adherens junctions and tight junctions in epithelial and endothelial cells. The protein is a calcium-independent cell-cell adhesion molecule that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and has 3 extracellular immunoglobulin-like loops, a single transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic region. The NECTIN1 protein acts as a receptor for glycoprotein D of herpes simplex viruses 1 and 2, and pseudorabies virus and mediates viral entry into epithelial and neuronal cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5818; HGNC ID: HGNC:9706; UniProt: Q15223; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002855.5; Chromosome location: 11q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
