SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PVALB (parvalbumin, also called Alpha-PV) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PVALB qPCR Primer Set – parvalbumin
Also known as: D22S749
About this gene: The PVALB protein is a high affinity calcium ion-binding protein that is structurally and functionally similar to calmodulin and troponin C. The encoded protein is believed to be involved in muscle relaxation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5816; HGNC ID: HGNC:9704; UniProt: P20472; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001315532.2; Chromosome location: 22q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
