SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PUM1 (pumilio RNA binding family member 1, also called HsPUM) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PUM1 qPCR Primer Set – pumilio RNA binding family member 1
Also known as: HSPUM, NEDMSF, PUMH, PUMH1, PUML1, SCA47
About this gene: PUM1 belongs to the PUF family, evolutionarily conserved RNA-binding proteins related to the Pumilio proteins of Drosophila and the fem-3 mRNA binding factor proteins of C. elegans. The PUM1 protein contains a sequence-specific RNA binding domain comprised of eight repeats and N- and C-terminal flanking regions, and serves as a translational regulator of specific mRNAs by binding to their 3' untranslated regions. The evolutionarily conserved function of the PUM1 protein in invertebrates and lower vertebrates suggests that the human protein may be involved in translational regulation of embryogenesis, and cell development and differentiation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9698; HGNC ID: HGNC:14957; UniProt: Q14671; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001020658.2; Chromosome location: 1p35.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
