SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTPRU (protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type U, also called PTP-J) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTPRU qPCR Primer Set – protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type U
Also known as: FMI, PCP-2, PTP, PTP-J, PTP-PI, PTP-RO, PTPPSI, PTPRO, PTPU2, R-PTP-PSI, R-PTP-U, hPTP-J
About this gene: The PTPRU protein belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP possesses an extracellular region, a single transmembrane region, and two tandem intracellular catalytic domains, and thus represents a receptor-type PTP. The extracellular region contains a meprin-A5 antigen-PTP domain, Ig-like and fibronectin type III-like repeats.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10076; HGNC ID: HGNC:9683; UniProt: Q92729; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_133178.4; Chromosome location: 1p35.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
