SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTPRR (protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type R, also called R-PTP-R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTPRR qPCR Primer Set – protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type R
Also known as: EC-PTP, PCPTP1, PTP-SL, PTPBR7, PTPRQ
About this gene: The PTPRR protein belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP possesses an extracellular region, a single transmembrane region, and a single intracellular catalytic domain, and thus represents a receptor-type PTP. Silencing of PTPRR has been linked to colorectal cancer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5801; HGNC ID: HGNC:9680; UniProt: Q15256; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002849.4; Chromosome location: 12q15
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
