SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTPRO (protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type O, also called PTP-U2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTPRO qPCR Primer Set – protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type O
Also known as: GLEPP1, NPHS6, PTP-OC, PTP-U2, PTPROT, PTPU2, R-PTP-O
About this gene: PTPRO belongs to the R3 subtype family of receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatases. These proteins are localized to the apical surface of polarized cells and may have tissue-specific functions through activation of Src family kinases. The encoded proteins may have multiple isoform-specific and tissue-specific functions, including the regulation of osteoclast production and activity, inhibition of cell proliferation and facilitation of apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5800; HGNC ID: HGNC:9678; UniProt: Q16827; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_030667.3; Chromosome location: 12p12.3|12p13-p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
