SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTPRN (protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type N, also called R-PTP-N) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTPRN qPCR Primer Set – protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type N
Also known as: IA-2, IA-2/PTP, IA2, ICA512, R-PTP-N
About this gene: The PTPRN protein belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP possesses an extracellular region, a single transmembrane region, and a single catalytic domain, and thus represents a receptor-type PTP. This PTP was found to be an autoantigen that is reactive with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus patient sera.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5798; HGNC ID: HGNC:9676; UniProt: Q16849; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002846.4; Chromosome location: 2q35
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
