SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTPRB (protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type B, also called R-PTP-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTPRB qPCR Primer Set – protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type B
Also known as: HPTP-BETA, HPTPB, PTPB, R-PTP-BETA, VEPTP
About this gene: The PTPRB protein belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP contains an extracellular domain, a single transmembrane segment and one intracytoplasmic catalytic domain, thus belongs to receptor type PTP. The extracellular region of this PTP is composed of multiple fibronectin type_III repeats.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5787; HGNC ID: HGNC:9665; UniProt: P23467; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001109754.4; Chromosome location: 12q15
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
