About this gene: The PTK6 protein is a cytoplasmic nonreceptor protein kinase which may function as an intracellular signal transducer in epithelial tissues. Overexpression of PTK6 in mammary epithelial cells leads to sensitization of the cells to epidermal growth factor and leads to a partially transformed phenotype. Expression of PTK6 has been detected at low levels in some breast tumors but not in normal breast tissue.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
