SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTHLH (parathyroid hormone like hormone, also called PLP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTHLH qPCR Primer Set – parathyroid hormone like hormone
Also known as: BDE2, HHM, PLP, PTHR, PTHRP
About this gene: The PTHLH protein belongs to the parathyroid hormone family. This hormone, via its receptor, PTHR1, regulates endochondral bone development and epithelial-mesenchymal interactions during the formation of the mammary glands and teeth. The PTHLH gene product is responsible for most cases of humoral hypercalcemia of malignancy, and mutations in PTHLH are linked to brachydactyly type E2.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5744; HGNC ID: HGNC:9607; UniProt: P12272; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_198965.2; Chromosome location: 12p11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
