SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTGES2 (prostaglandin E synthase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTGES2 qPCR Primer Set – prostaglandin E synthase 2
Also known as: C9orf15, GBF-1, PGES2, mPGES-2
About this gene: The PTGES2 protein is a membrane-associated prostaglandin E synthase, which catalyzes the conversion of prostaglandin H2 to prostaglandin E2. The PTGES2 protein also is reported to activate the transcription regulated by a gamma-interferon-activated transcription element.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 80142; HGNC ID: HGNC:17822; UniProt: Q9H7Z7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_025072.7; Chromosome location: 9q34.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
