SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTGES (prostaglandin E synthase, also called MGST1-L1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTGES qPCR Primer Set – prostaglandin E synthase
Also known as: MGST-IV, MGST1-L1, MGST1L1, MPGES, PGES, PIG12, PP102, PP1294, TP53I12, mPGES-1
About this gene: The PTGES protein is a glutathione-dependent prostaglandin E synthase. The expression of PTGES is reported to be induced by proinflammatory cytokine interleukin 1 beta. Its expression can also be induced by tumor suppressor protein TP53, and may be involved in TP53 induced apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9536; HGNC ID: HGNC:9599; UniProt: O14684; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004878.5; Chromosome location: 9q34.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
