SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTGER2 (prostaglandin E receptor 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTGER2 qPCR Primer Set – prostaglandin E receptor 2
Also known as: COX-2, EP2
About this gene: PTGER2 encodes a receptor for prostaglandin E2, a metabolite of arachidonic acid which has different biologic activities in a wide range of tissues. Mutations in PTGER2 are linked to aspirin-induced susceptibility to asthma.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5732; HGNC ID: HGNC:9594; UniProt: P43116; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000956.4; Chromosome location: 14q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
