SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PTDSS1 (phosphatidylserine synthase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PTDSS1 qPCR Primer Set – phosphatidylserine synthase 1
Also known as: LMHD, PSS1, PSSA
About this gene: The PTDSS1 protein catalyzes the formation of phosphatidylserine from either phosphatidylcholine or phosphatidylethanolamine. Phosphatidylserine localizes to the mitochondria-associated membrane of the endoplasmic reticulum, where it serves a structural role as well as a signaling role. Defects in PTDSS1 are a cause of Lenz-Majewski hyperostotic dwarfism.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9791; HGNC ID: HGNC:9587; UniProt: P48651; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014754.3; Chromosome location: 8q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
