SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PSTPIP1 (proline-serine-threonine phosphatase interacting protein 1, also called H-PIP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PSTPIP1 qPCR Primer Set – proline-serine-threonine phosphatase interacting protein 1
Also known as: AICZC, CD2BP1, CD2BP1L, CD2BP1S, H-PIP, PAPA, PAPAS, PSTPIP
About this gene: PSTPIP1 encodes a cytoskeletal protein that is highly expressed in hemopoietic tissues. The PSTPIP1 protein functions via its interaction with multiple different proteins involved in cytoskeletal organization and inflammatory processes. The PSTPIP1 gene product binds to the cytoplasmic tail of CD2, an effector of T cell activation and adhesion, downregulating CD2-triggered adhesion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9051; HGNC ID: HGNC:9580; UniProt: O43586; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003978.5; Chromosome location: 15q24.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
