SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ACADS (acyl-CoA dehydrogenase short chain, also called SCAD) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ACADS qPCR Primer Set – acyl-CoA dehydrogenase short chain
Also known as: ACAD3, SCAD
About this gene: ACADS encodes a tetrameric mitochondrial flavoprotein, which belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family. This enzyme catalyzes the initial step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. Mutations in ACADS have been linked to short-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 35; HGNC ID: HGNC:90; UniProt: P16219; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000017.4; Chromosome location: 12q24.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
