Human PSG6 qPCR Primer Set – pregnancy specific beta-1-glycoprotein 6
Also known as: PSBG-10, PSBG-12, PSBG-6, PSG10, PSGGB
About this gene: PSG6 belongs to the pregnancy-specific glycoprotein gene family. The PSG genes are a subgroup of the carcinoembryonic antigen family of immunoglobulin-like genes, and are found in a gene cluster at 19q13.1-q13.2 telomeric to another cluster of CEA-related genes. The PSG genes are expressed by placental trophoblasts and released into the maternal circulation during pregnancy, and are thought to be essential for maintenance of normal pregnancy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5675; HGNC ID: HGNC:9523; UniProt: Q00889; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001031850.4; Chromosome location: 19q13.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
