SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PSG1 (pregnancy specific beta-1-glycoprotein 1, also called PSG95) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PSG1 qPCR Primer Set – pregnancy specific beta-1-glycoprotein 1
Also known as: B1G1, CD66f, FL-NCA-1/2, PBG1, PS-beta-C/D, PS-beta-G-1, PSBG-1, PSBG1, PSG95, PSGGA, PSGIIA, SP1
About this gene: The human placenta is a multihormonal endocrine organ that produces hormones, enzymes, and other molecules that support fetal survival and development. Pregnancy-specific beta-1-glycoprotein is a major product of the syncytiotrophoblast, reaching concentrations of 100 to 290 mg/l at term in the serum of pregnant women. PSG belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily (Watanabe and Chou, 1988 [PubMed 3257488]; Streydio et al., 1988 [PubMed 3260773]).[supplied by OMIM, Oct 2009].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5669; HGNC ID: HGNC:9514; UniProt: P11464; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001184825.2; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
