SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human APH1B (aph-1B gamma-secretase subunit, also called APH-1b) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human APH1B qPCR Primer Set – aph-1B gamma-secretase subunit
Also known as: APH-1B, PRO1328, PSFL, TAAV688, aph-1beta
About this gene: APH1B encodes a multi-pass transmembrane protein that is a functional component of the gamma-secretase complex, which also contains presenilin and nicastrin. The APH1B protein represents a stabilizing cofactor for the presenilin holoprotein in the complex. The gamma-secretase complex catalyzes the cleavage of integral proteins such as notch receptors and beta-amyloid precursor protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 83464; HGNC ID: HGNC:24080; UniProt: Q8WW43; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_031301.4; Chromosome location: 15q22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
