SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PSCA (prostate stem cell antigen) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PSCA qPCR Primer Set – prostate stem cell antigen
Also known as: PRO232, lncPSCA
About this gene: PSCA encodes a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell membrane glycoprotein. In addition to being highly expressed in the prostate it is also expressed in the bladder, placenta, colon, kidney, and stomach. PSCA is up-regulated in a large proportion of prostate cancers and is also detected in cancers of the bladder and pancreas.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8000; HGNC ID: HGNC:9500; UniProt: O43653; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005672.5; Chromosome location: 8q24.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
