SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRX (periaxin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRX qPCR Primer Set – periaxin
Also known as: CMT4F
About this gene: PRX encodes a protein involved in peripheral nerve myelin upkeep. The PRX protein contains 2 PDZ domains which were named after PSD95, DlgA, and ZO1. Mutations in PRX cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth neuoropathy, type 4F and Dejerine-Sottas neuropathy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 57716; HGNC ID: HGNC:13797; UniProt: Q9BXM0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_181882.3; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
