SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRSS8 (serine protease 8, also called CAP1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRSS8 qPCR Primer Set – serine protease 8
Also known as: CAP1, PROSTASIN
About this gene: PRSS8 belongs to the peptidase S1 or chymotrypsin family of serine proteases. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate light and heavy chains that associate via a disulfide bond to form the heterodimeric enzyme. This enzyme is highly expressed in prostate epithelia and is one of multiple proteolytic enzymes found in seminal fluid.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5652; HGNC ID: HGNC:9491; UniProt: Q16651; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002773.5; Chromosome location: 16p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
