SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRSS2 (serine protease 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRSS2 qPCR Primer Set – serine protease 2
Also known as: TRY2, TRY8, TRYP2
About this gene: PRSS2 belongs to the trypsin family of serine proteases and encodes anionic trypsinogen. Enzymes of this family cleave peptide bonds that follow lysine or arginine residues. The PRSS2 protein is found at high levels in pancreatic juice and its upregulation is a characteristic feature of pancreatitis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5645; HGNC ID: HGNC:9483; UniProt: P07478; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002770.4; Chromosome location: 7q34
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
