Human PRRG1 qPCR Primer Set – proline rich and Gla domain 1
Also known as: PRGP1
About this gene: PRRG1 encodes a vitamin K-dependent, gamma-carboxyglutamic acid-containing, single-pass transmembrane protein. The PRRG1 protein contains a Gla domain at the N-terminus, preceded by a propeptide sequence required for post-translational gamma-carboxylation of specific glutamic acid residues by a vitamin K-dependent gamma-carboxylase. The C-terminus is proline-rich containing PPXY and PXXP motifs found in a variety of signaling and cytoskeletal proteins.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5638; HGNC ID: HGNC:9469; UniProt: O14668; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001142395.2; Chromosome location: Xp21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
