SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRR14 (proline rich 14) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRR14 qPCR Primer Set – proline rich 14
About this gene: The PRR14 protein tethers heterochromatin to the nuclear laminar scaffold by binding heterochromatin protein 1 and the nuclear lamina. The tether is broken during mitosis and reforms quickly after mitosis, with the PRR14 protein first binding HP1 and then attaching to the nuclear lamina. The PRR14 protein also is reported to promote MyoD activity and skeletal myogenesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 78994; HGNC ID: HGNC:28458; UniProt: Q9BWN1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024031.5; Chromosome location: 16p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
