SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRPS2 (phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate synthetase 2, also called PRSII) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRPS2 qPCR Primer Set – phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate synthetase 2
Also known as: PRSII
About this gene: PRPS2 encodes a phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate synthetase that plays a central role in the synthesis of purines and pyrimidines. The PRPS2 protein catalyzes the synthesis of 5-phosphoribosyl 1-pyrophosphate from ATP and D-ribose 5-phosphate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5634; HGNC ID: HGNC:9465; UniProt: P11908; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002765.5; Chromosome location: Xp22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
