SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRPF8 (pre-mRNA processing factor 8, also called p220) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRPF8 qPCR Primer Set – pre-mRNA processing factor 8
Also known as: HPRP8, PRP8, PRPC8, RP13, SNRNP220
About this gene: Pre-mRNA splicing occurs in 2 sequential transesterification steps. The PRPF8 protein is a component of both U2- and U12-dependent spliceosomes, and found to be essential for the catalytic step II in pre-mRNA splicing process. The PRPF8 gene product contains multiple WD repeats, which function in protein-protein interactions.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10594; HGNC ID: HGNC:17340; UniProt: Q6P2Q9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006445.4; Chromosome location: 17p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
