Human PROCR qPCR Primer Set – protein C receptor
Also known as: CCCA, CCD41, EPCR
About this gene: The PROCR protein is a receptor for activated protein C, a serine protease activated by and involved in the blood coagulation pathway. The PROCR protein is an N-glycosylated type I membrane protein that enhances the activation of protein C. Mutations in PROCR have been linked to venous thromboembolism and myocardial infarction, as well as with late fetal loss during pregnancy. The PROCR protein may also play a role in malarial infection and has been linked to cancer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10544; HGNC ID: HGNC:9452; UniProt: Q9UNN8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006404.5; Chromosome location: 20q11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
