Human NDUFAF7 qPCR Primer Set – NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase complex assembly factor 7
Also known as: C2orf56, MidA, PRO1853
About this gene: NDUFAF7 encodes a assembly factor protein which helps in the assembly and stabilization of Complex I, a large multi-subunit enzyme in the mitochondrial respiratory chain. Complex I is involved in multiple physiological activities in the cell, including metabolite transport and ATP synthesis. The NDUFAF7 protein is a methyltransferase which methylates Arg85 of a subunit of Complex I in the early stages of its assembly.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55471; HGNC ID: HGNC:28816; UniProt: Q7L592; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_144736.5; Chromosome location: 2p22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
