SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ACOT7 (acyl-CoA thioesterase 7, also called BACH) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ACOT7 qPCR Primer Set – acyl-CoA thioesterase 7
Also known as: ACH1, ACT, BACH, CTE-II, LACH, LACH1, hBACH
About this gene: ACOT7 belongs to the acyl coenzyme family. The ACOT7 protein hydrolyzes the CoA thioester of palmitoyl-CoA and other long-chain fatty acids. Decreased expression of ACOT7 may be linked to mesial temporal lobe epilepsy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11332; HGNC ID: HGNC:24157; UniProt: O00154; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007274.4; Chromosome location: 1p36.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
