SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRND (prion like protein doppel, also called PrPLP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRND qPCR Primer Set – prion like protein doppel
Also known as: DOPPEL, DPL, PrPLP, dJ1068H6.4
About this gene: PRND is found on chromosome 20, approximately 20 kbp downstream of the gene encoding cellular prion protein, to which it is biochemically and structurally similar. The PRND protein is a membrane glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored glycoprotein that is found predominantly in testis. Mutations in PRND may lead to neurological disorders.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23627; HGNC ID: HGNC:15748; UniProt: Q9UKY0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012409.4; Chromosome location: 20p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
