SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRKRA (protein activator of interferon induced protein kinase EIF2AK2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRKRA qPCR Primer Set – protein activator of interferon induced protein kinase EIF2AK2
Also known as: DYT16, HSD14, PACT, RAX
About this gene: PRKRA encodes a protein kinase activated by double-stranded RNA which mediates the effects of interferon in response to viral infection. Mutations in PRKRA have been linked to dystonia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8575; HGNC ID: HGNC:9438; UniProt: O75569; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003690.5; Chromosome location: 2q31.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
