SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRKG1 (protein kinase cGMP-dependent 1, also called cGK1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRKG1 qPCR Primer Set – protein kinase cGMP-dependent 1
Also known as: AAT8, PKG, PKG1, PRKG1B, PRKGR1B, cGK, cGK 1, cGK1, cGKI, cGKI-BETA, cGKI-alpha
About this gene: Mammals have three different isoforms of cyclic GMP-dependent protein kinase. These PRKG isoforms act as key mediators of the nitric oxide/cGMP signaling pathway and are important components of many signal transduction processes in diverse cell types. This PRKG1 gene on human chromosome 10 encodes the soluble Ialpha and Ibeta isoforms of PRKG by alternative transcript splicing.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5592; HGNC ID: HGNC:9414; UniProt: Q13976; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006258.4; Chromosome location: 10q11.23-q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
