SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRKDC (protein kinase, DNA-activated, catalytic subunit, also called DNPK1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRKDC qPCR Primer Set – protein kinase, DNA-activated, catalytic subunit
Also known as: DNA-PKC, DNA-PKcs, DNAPK, DNAPKc, DNPK1, HYRC, HYRC1, IMD26, S473K, XRCC7, p350
About this gene: PRKDC encodes a catalytic subunit of the DNA-dependent protein kinase. The PRKDC gene product functions with the Ku70/Ku80 heterodimer protein in DNA double strand break repair and recombination. The protein encoded belongs to the PI3/PI4-kinase family.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5591; HGNC ID: HGNC:9413; UniProt: P78527; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006904.7; Chromosome location: 8q11.21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
