SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRKCH (protein kinase C eta, also called PKC-L) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRKCH qPCR Primer Set – protein kinase C eta
Also known as: PKC-L, PKCL, PKCeta, PRKCL, nPKC-eta, uORF2
About this gene: Protein kinase C is a family of serine- and threonine-specific protein kinases that can be activated by calcium and the second messenger diacylglycerol. PKC family members phosphorylate a wide variety of protein targets and are known to be involved in diverse cellular signaling pathways. PKC family members also serve as major receptors for phorbol esters, a class of tumor promoters.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5583; HGNC ID: HGNC:9403; UniProt: P24723; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006255.5; Chromosome location: 14q23.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
