SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRKCG (protein kinase C gamma, also called PKC-gamma) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRKCG qPCR Primer Set – protein kinase C gamma
Also known as: PKC-gamma, PKCC, PKCG, PKCI(3), PKCgamma, SCA14
About this gene: Protein kinase C is a family of serine- and threonine-specific protein kinases that can be activated by calcium and second messenger diacylglycerol. PKC family members phosphorylate a wide variety of protein targets and are known to be involved in diverse cellular signaling pathways. PKC also serve as major receptors for phorbol esters, a class of tumor promoters.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5582; HGNC ID: HGNC:9402; UniProt: P05129; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002739.5; Chromosome location: 19q13.42
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
