SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRKAA1 (protein kinase AMP-activated catalytic subunit alpha 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRKAA1 qPCR Primer Set – protein kinase AMP-activated catalytic subunit alpha 1
Also known as: AMPK, AMPK alpha 1, AMPKa1
About this gene: The PRKAA1 protein belongs to the ser/thr protein kinase family. The PRKAA1 gene product is the catalytic subunit of the 5'-prime-AMP-activated protein kinase. AMPK is a cellular energy sensor conserved in all eukaryotic cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5562; HGNC ID: HGNC:9376; UniProt: Q13131; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006251.6; Chromosome location: 5p13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
