Human PRIM1 qPCR Primer Set – DNA primase subunit 1

Also known as: PDIL, p49

About this gene: The replication of DNA in eukaryotic cells is carried out by a complex chromosomal replication apparatus, in which DNA polymerase alpha and primase are two key enzymatic components. Primase, which is a heterodimer of a small subunit and a large subunit, synthesizes small RNA primers for the Okazaki fragments made during discontinuous DNA replication. The PRIM1 protein is the small, 49 kDa primase subunit.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5557; HGNC ID: HGNC:9369; UniProt: P49642; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000946.3; Chromosome location: 12q13.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
