SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRF1 (perforin 1, also called P1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRF1 qPCR Primer Set – perforin 1
Also known as: HPLH2, P1, PFP
About this gene: PRF1 encodes a protein with structural similarities to complement component C9 that is important in immunity. The PRF1 protein forms membrane pores that allow the release of granzymes and subsequent cytolysis of target cells. Whether pore formation occurs in the plasma membrane of target cells or in an endosomal membrane inside target cells is subject to debate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5551; HGNC ID: HGNC:9360; UniProt: P14222; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001083116.3; Chromosome location: 10q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
